Local Chapters – Boston

The Boston chapter has recently set up an email listserve to make it possible to arrange short notice get togethers with fellow Reedies. If you want to invite your fellow Reedies to join you for a concert, movie, drink, dinner or a hike, send an email to the list. However, it is an opt-in list, which means the only people who will see the announcements will be people who've gone to a web page to subscribe. This means you need to subscribe yourself so that you can see what other people want to do. There is an option to get all the messages combined in one message once a day or weekly. Summer picnic

You are invited to join other Reed College alumni and students at our annual potluck picnic and free viewing of Shakespeare's "As You Like It" in the Boston Common on Sunday, August 3, at 7 p.m. We will meet outside of the Park Street T stop at 6:15 p.m. Bring a blanket to sit on.

Thirsty Third Thursday

Share conversation and comestibles with fellow Reedies on Thirsty Third Thursday. Look for the pink table-top sign and the stuffed griffin at a pub/bar/restaurant near you.
