Reed Lore

The lower Columbia River valley, where Reed College is nestled, has long been home to a rich folklore. Reedies, like folklorists, tend not to care whether the stories they hear are true or not, as long as they’re good stories. What follows is a sampling of Reed’s rather rich body of lore. It’s up to you to decide whether any of it is true.
