Application Process and Timeline


The Admission Committee reviews applications on a defined schedule and will notify completed applicants of the admission decision by the date specified below.
To open your application file, send us the Common Application and your non-refundable $50 application fee as soon as possible. The supplemental form and other supporting credentials may be filed separately, if necessary.
All items must be received in the admission office before the Admission Committee will begin reviewing your application.

The Common Application, used by a consortium of independent colleges, is Reed's primary application form. You can complete the Common Application either on paper or on-line. In addition to the Common Application, Reed requires a supplemental form, which can be downloaded with the other application forms on our website.
