Sirius Bonner '05 is an assistant dean of admission and she is the assistant director of multicultural recruitment. She's a recent graduate of color from Reed, who majored in art history and wrote her senior thesis on Black women in French art of the nineteenth century. As a student, Sirius spearheaded the Multicultural Association of Students, interned in the Multicultural Resource Center, served on the Peer Mentor Program committee, and was as a residential house adviser. Lisa Moore is the assistant dean for multicultural affairs in student services. She heads up the Multicultural Resource Center and the Peer Mentor Program. She serves on Reed's Ad Hoc Committee on Diversity and is integral in the support and retention of historically underrepresented students. Lisa has a bachelor's degree from Davidson College, a master's from Smith College and is currently a doctoral student at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Prior to Reed, Lisa served as the assistant director of the Women's Center at Stanford. Among her accomplishments, she's provided Spanish-speaking group and family therapy, has led numerous diversity trainings, and has presented research on the institutionalized challenges that face women of color who work and study in higher education.
