Etiquette Dinner

Etiquette Dinner

Sunday, January 28, 2007

5PM, Kaul Auditorium, Gray Lounge

Practice your fine dining skills, learn about workplace etiquette, and enjoy the mentorship of alumni. Lena Lencek, professor of Russian and humanities, will provide “a brief history of etiquette,” which will be followed by a four-course meal and more on the theme of etiquette from Reed alumna Molly Watson. Interview attire is encouraged.

Molly Watson (Reed '92) escaped the academy with a Ph.D. in French History (Stanford '00) and a deep love of food. She worked as a freelance writer and cooking instructor in the Bay Area for several years. As food writer at Sunset Magazine, she scouts and develops stories about food products, producers, artisans, locations, and chefs throughout the Western U.S. Her work has also appeared in many publications, including The New York Times and epicurious.com.

Sponsored by Career Services and Bon Appetit.
