Career Services invites you to attend an informational session about the opportunities of MICROFINANCE and MICROCREDIT. Learn how you can help poor people in developing countries to obtain new and sustainable ways of providing subsistence for themselves and their families.

Stela Dhami '03, loan officer of Mercy Corps Northwest and Kim Crane, who has worked for a microfinance institution in the Middle East will both give short presentations about their experiences and the opportunities of this kind of social enterprise. You will also have the chance to have your questions answered and learn how to get valuable paid and/or volunteer experience in this field.  Resources for additional research and involvement will be provided, and delicious refreshments will be served!
