Saturday, October 27, 2007

11:30AM-3PM

The Biomedical Informatics Graduate Program at Oregon Health & Science University will host its annual Open House on Saturday, October 27, 2007 in Portland, OR.  This is an opportunity for OHSU to introduce everyone to this exciting and challenging new field at the intersection of information technology with healthcare and biomedical research. Members of the faculty, students, alumni and staff will be on hand to answer any questions regarding opportunities for graduate study in Biomedical Informatics at OHSU.

OHSU is a leader in biomedical informatics education and research. They recently developed a track in Bioinformatics that complements their original track in Medical Informatics. OHSU is seeking highly qualified applicants to enroll in both of these tracks at the Master’s and PhD degree levels. These educational programs are stimulating and challenging. They not only provide coursework but also the opportunity to work on real-world projects in both clinical and biomedical research settings.
