Meet with a representative from Avodah, a Jewish service corps that combines front-line, anti-poverty work, Jewish learning, and community building into a one-year program for young adults in New York, Chicago, and Washington DC. Corps members work to change the lives of people in poverty by joining with them to improve their neighborhoods and increase their access to opportunity. Avodah believes that work for social change and Judaism go hand in hand and we work to strengthen the connections between the two.
