Test Prep
The Career Services office has many resources to help you score your best on standardized tests. Our library contains study guides, practice tests, GRE subject test books, as well as information to help prepare for the MCAT and LSAT. Consult our list of external test prep links.
A study guide for the GRE Literature Subject Test can be found here (links to a pdf on the English Department website.) Simulated GRE tests are available through our PowerPrep software--stop by the office to try a practice test.
In addition, weekend prep courses are scheduled ach year for the GRE and LSAT exams. Space is limited; be sure to RSVP. Visit our calendar for details and other upcoming post-Reed education events.
Personal Statements (or Statements of Purpose)
Check our graduate and professional school library resources for good reference books on preparing personal statements for your applications. Staff members in career services and writing tutors in the writing center (academic support) are available to review your drafts.
