General IT
EduCause EduCause was formed by the merger of CAUSE and Educom and is now one of the largest organizations dedicated to IT. According to their web page, the mission of Educause is " to help shape and enable transformational change in higher education through the introduction, use, and management of information resources and technologies in teaching, learning, scholarship, research, and institutional management."
Princeton University Culpeper Projects Not updated since 1995. An interesting look at another school's implementation of Culpeper Technology Grants. Projects highlighted cover diverse disciplines, from medieval studies to geology.
AIT The "Agency for Instructional Technology" is principally a reseller and information clearinghouse of IT products. This page is a good place to start if you're wondering about software for particular discipline. The site also has a decent links page.
New Tools For Teaching These pages, maintained by UPENN classics professor James O'Donnell, provide a number of resources and information about IT efforts at UPENN and elsewhere. O'Donnell provides lots of examples and anecdotes about his own experiences with IT. Not updated since 2001.
Web-Based Learning Resources Library These pages contain lots of discussion, information and, above all, links to software and programs for those interested in incorporating web-based technology in their classroom. Much of this site is concerned with "distance education." Obviously, this doesn't pertain directly to Reed, however much of the material contained within the distance learning rubric— e.g., on-line discussion, email listservs, etc.—is potentially quite relevant.
ISTE This site is principally intended for IT professionals. However, the "teacher resources" section has a particularly useful set of links and information on IT broken down by discipline. If you're wondering about IT products for philosophy teachers, this would be a good place to start.
Campus Technology Formerly Syllabus, "Campus Technology continues to uphold Syllabus' mission of serving as a complete resource for academic and administrative IT leaders in higher education, and provides in-depth coverage of specific technologies, their uses, and implementations on campus." The website, like the magazine, is a mix of hype and worthwhile content. Nonetheless, it is often a good resource for learning about cutting edge technology in discipline-specific environments.
Apple Learning Interchange Although not surprisingly slanted towards marketing Apple technology, this site does contain a wealth of information for using technology in classes. The site presents a host of examples and curricular materials in a very clear and easy to use format.
Arts & Humanities
Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities Housed at the University of Virginia, this site provides links to a large number of IT projects in the humanities. A great site to visit if you're looking for inspiration or just want to see what faculty at other schools are doing.
Math & Sciences
ExPASy According to Reed bio prof Jay Mellies, "this swiss site is a particularly good one with useful links, different analysis tools, etc."
