Endnote Web Upgrade (Posted )
Thomson Reuters will be performing an upgrade to Endnote Web starting Friday, November 20 at 9:00pm EST and ending by Sunday, November 22 at 10:00am EST. During this time, users will not be able to login to their Endnote Web account at https://www.myendnoteweb.com/. More information about the upgrade is available on Endote's site.
Windows Printing Restored

Windows printing to billed printers was restored on Thursday, November 19 around 2pm. If you experience difficulty printing from Windows computers, please contact CUS at 503-777-7525 or email cus@reed.edu.

Windows Printing Down

All Windows printing to billed printers from lab computers (IRCs, Library, etc) and student computers is currently unvailable due to a hardware failure. Technical staff are working to correct the issue. It's expected to be resolved on Thursday. In the meantime, users who wish to print should use a Mac computer. An update will be posted when more information is available. Please contact CUS at 503-777-7525 or cus@reed.edu with questions or concerns.
Update: Windows printing is now expected to be up and running sometime tomorrow (Thursday).
Status of alice (Banner job submission host)

alice, our Banner job submission host crashed on Monday evening, Nov 16.
alice is currently up and working, but is still logging hardware errors. Until the problem is fully resolved, ACS advises job submission users to copy job submission output files from alice to Portfolio, just in case alice goes down again unexpectedly.
It may be necessary to take alice offline again in the near future for maintenance activities. Users will be given as much advance notice as possible of any maintenance activity.
