Around Reed

Most dining options near campus are "up the hill" -- about 10 short blocks east on Woodstock Blvd.

Need Coffee? Any of these places up the hill can serve up a straight cup of joe or a 3-shot depth-charge:

Woodstock Wine & Deli is practically an extension of campus. Deli sandwiches, salads, desserts and a huge selection of wine. Buy a bottle of wine at retail prices and enjoy it with your meal. 41st & Woodstock

Otto's Sausage Kitchen has been around for a long time, but they gained fame when Jane & Michael Stern of Roadfood named theirs one of the ten best hotdogs in the country. Next closest top ten hot dog? fly to L.A. 42nd & Woodstock.

The Delta Cafe is a favorite Reedie hangout for southern-style comfort food and late night drinks. Vegetarians can even get greens without pork. 46th & Woodstock, 503-771-3101.

Tani's Japanese Kitchen and Sushi Bar is friendly, comfortable, and has good sushi. Several vegetarian options.
