Visiting Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry
Sabbatical Replacement Faculty Position at Reed College. The Chemistry
Department invites applications for a two-year visiting position within
the field of Organic Chemistry at the Assistant Professor level for the
2010-2012 academic year. The successful candidate will be capable of
offering courses in introductory and advanced organic chemistry targeted
at chemistry and allied majors. The successful candidate will also be
expected to involve senior thesis students in original research.
Excellent facilities for teaching and research are available, including
a 400 MHz multinuclear NMR in a modern dedicated chemistry building.
Ph.D. is required; postdoctoral experience preferred but not required.
