Driving Directions from the Benson to Reed

The Benson is located at Broadway and Stark in southwest (downtown) Portland.

Your goal is to get across the river to southeast Portland. The easiest route is to head south on Broadway.
Turn left on Madison. This will take you over the Hawthorne Bridge and up Hawthorne Bouldvard. You will see many interesting places to eat and shop.
Turn right on 39th Avenue. Drive for a couple miles, through several stoplights.
Turn right on Woodstock Boulevard and proceed down the hill.
At approximately 36th, turn right in to the Reed College east parking lot.
You may park anywhere in this lot. The Psychology Building is located to the far side of the lot.
Enter Psychology and look for Psychology 105, Auditorium.

From the Reed College east lot, turn left onto Woodstock Boulevard.
Turn left on 39th Avenue.
Turn left on Hawthorne Boulevard. At approximately 12th avenue you will be forced to turn right as Hawthorne becomes a one-way street.
Stay in the left lane and immediately turn left again onto Madison.
Turn right on 4th Avenue.
Turn left on Oak Street.
Turn left onto Broadway, and the Benson will be on your right.
