Giving to Reed
The Annual Fund
Reed College celebrates another year of Annual Fund success thanks to the support of 6,005 alumni, parents, and friends who made gifts between July 1, 2010, and June 30, 2011.
Gifts to Reed's Annual Fund surpassed our $3.6 million goal and constituted a truly remarkable show of support for the college’s mission.
Annual Fund gifts help the college respond to a challenging economy without sacrificing the quality of a Reed education. As the college celebrates its centennial year, the strength of annual giving is a promising indication of Reed’s success in the next hundred years.
Reed has admitted a strong class of freshmen for the new academic year. The need for financial aid among our incoming class continues to grow, as do the other costs of providing a Reed education. The college hopes to once again raise $3.6 million for financial aid, library books, student and faculty research, faculty salaries, classroom technology, campus maintenance, and student resources between now and June 30, 2012.
We invite all past donors to sustain their Annual Fund support, and invite others to join the growing community of donors who support Reed College. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
