Giving to Reed
Reunions Giving Program
Gifts from alumni celebrating a reunion are essential to Reed. Many alumni increase their support during a reunion-year and others who have not given for many years renew their support for the college. Because of their increased giving, donations from alumni celebrating a reunion make up a significant portion of all gifts to the Annual Fund.
In fiscal year 2009, the 5th to the 50th reunion classes contributed a remarkable $451,054 to the Annual Fund. And while 32% of all alumni made gifts to the Annual Fund in 2009, 36% of reunion-year alumni gave.
Reunions 2010 Class Goals and Progress
Each reunion class has two goals, a dollar goal and a participation goal. The goals represent a significant increase over each class's prior-year giving and it takes stretch gifts from steadfast donors as well as gifts from new donors to reach them.
All Annual Fund gifts from reunion-year alumni made between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010 count toward the class goals. Click here to make your gift today.
