Associate Dean of Student Services for Student & Campus Life
Reports to the VP/Dean of Student Services.  Responsible for overall operations & supervision of the Student and Campus Life services, which includes Residence Life, Student Activities (student leadership), International Student Svcs., and Community Service.   The goal of this position is to assist in creating a campus environment for students to take full advantage of the college's social and cultural opportunities.

Major responsibilities include leadership and effective management of student services through strategic planning, fiscal accountability, research, and collaboration with individuals and organizations both within /outside the college; Serving as key member of VP/Dean of Students' leadership team; and Working closely with 4 other assoc. deans in academic support, health and wellness, judicial affairs, and multicultural affairs.

Qualifications:
Current knowledge in principles/practices of student development and organizational/ management theory.  Skill in managing difficult situations involving students, parents, staff and faculty.  Must have highest standards of integrity and ethics in both performance and behavior.

Requires a Master's degree in a liberal arts field, student personnel or education; Ph.D.  preferred with 8 years of progressively responsible higher education student services experience, including supervision; Equivalent experience and education will be considered.
