Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
All Day, Start at University of Portland Chiles Center
Reed is partnering with other local colleges and universities on a
city wide Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. The goal is to recruit
1,000 students to serve at 30-50 schools, non-profits and other
community-based agencies. Before going out into the community, everyone
will come together at the University of Portland Chiles Center, to
share the vision for the day, have a time of remembrance for and learn
about MLK Jr., and get excited to go out and serve.
