Multicultural Affairs seeks to create and sustain an inclusive campus environment that meets the needs of all members. This is accomplished through educational and social programming that facilitates dialogue and addresses issues of class, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, privilege, and oppression as well as the intersection of identities. In addition, Multicultural Affairs coordinates the Peer Mentor Program and connects with community organizations that serve underrepresented communities in Portland.
