No doubt you have as many questions as your student does right now. As you work with him or her to prepare for this next adventure, we thought you might want some answers to your questions about Reed.

Reed keeps parents in the loop as much as possible, beginning with a parent orientation program each August during the first two days of new student orientation. In addition, the college provides a parent handbook , and each November hosts Parent and Family Weekend on campus. Other events include Alumni College—an annual opportunity for parents to return to the classroom under the instruction of Reed professors and alumni—as well as meetings and receptions with parents in large cities throughout the academic year.
