Acknowledgments
We would like to thank the following individuals and academic departments, without whose support this year's RAW would not have been possible: Lena Lencek and the Russian Department, Carla Mann and the Dance Department, Stephanie Snyder and the Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Gallery, Michael Leidecker and Residence Life, Isaac and the Paradox Cafe, and the Reed College Student Senate. We would especially like to thank Carla Mann, for her guidance and the readiness with which she shared her wealth of knowledge; and Stephanie Snyder, for her words of wisdom, insight on how to integrate students with RAW, and her donation of spaces crucial to the diffusion of art throughout campus.
For their creativity, enthusiasm, and their many hours spent making RAW a reality, we would like to thank our student staff: Jen, for designing a striking image that captures this year's theme, and for creating the website and program; Frank, for his clever and insightful writing and for managing our press; Naomi, for ensuring the comfort of our visiting artists; Ella, for managing the unruly task of coordinating over 30 student art projects; Marka and John Arthur for transforming our Student Union into a beautiful Masquerade Ball; and Gerald, for his technical expertise. We would also like to thank Kyle Webster of Student Activities for his endless support and enthusiasm for our project.
We would like to thank Steve Yeadon and Bruce Heffner of Grounds for their assistance and open-mindedness towards student art projects. We would also like to thank Silas Cook and Robin Richard for their expertise and assistance in the installation process. Lastly, we would like to thank Amy Taylor and Cate Whitcomb in Public Affairs for their guidance with the design and printing. Special thanks to Reed alumna Taya Koschnick for helping to bring Ryan Trecartin to RAW this year.
