SEEDS: Students for Education, Empowerment, & Direct Service
The SEEDS office (Students for Education, Empowerment, and Direct Service) brings together students, faculty, staff, and alumni who support community efforts to bring about social change. Matching individual and group interests with local, national, and international opportunities to serve others, SEEDS offers students a chance to join others and actively take part in issues of importance to them.
SEEDS:
- allows Reed to provide support to the Portland community,
- educates students about the "real world,"
- serves as a strong community-building influence on campus, and,
- presents students with positive, educational, and healthy opportunities for recreation.
