Welcome to Reed's Ski Cabin!
The Reed College Ski Cabin is located in the village of Government Camp on the flanks of Mt. Hood, approximately an hour and a half from the college by car. The cabin is watched over by a live-in manager, and is available for use by the Reed College student body, alumni, faculty, and staff. Built by Reed in 1949, our little mountain hideaway has weathered many wonderful winter seasons, and for years has provided a warm retreat for Reedies recreating on the mountain. While we work hard to retain the warm and welcoming environment that the cabin has historically offered, the way in which the cabin is operated today may be different than when you visited it last. In order to get the most enjoyment from your visit, please read the following information carefully.
