Smoking, alcohol, and recreational drugs

There will be no smoking inside the cabin. Please be considerate of others if smoking on one of the porches. No illicit substances should be smoked anywhere on the cabin grounds; we cannot condone illegal activity and we insist on maintaining good relations with our nearby neighbors.

The Reed Ski Cabin is located far from emergency care and some of the activities available to visitors have the potential for higher levels of risk. In this environment an impaired or altered state of mind is not appropriate. Substance use/abuse could create tension between visitors in the cabin and is not part of current cabin culture. Alcoholic beverages may be enjoyed only in moderation and then only by people 21 years of age and older. Drunkenness and illicit drug use are grounds for being permanently barred from the cabin. Please do not ask or expect the manager to overlook or make an exception to these rules.
