Join a long running tradition of fencing at
Reed, and be eligible to win a substantial scholarship in the Douglas Williams Fencing
Tournament. The class offers lessons in the method and manner
of safe swordsmanship. Fencing offers many benefits to any student,
exercising both body and mind simultaneously. Basic equipment (foil
and protective gear) is provided by the Sports Center. Parrot
and/or eyepatch/hook/pegleg not included with tuition and must be
provided by student.
