Irene Lundquist

Irene Lundquist has been active as an authorized Meditation Instructor since 1994 following completion of a Buddhist seminary program. She is a Life Coach and Spiritual Mentor at the Interfaith Spiritual Center in SE Portland.

Ms.Lundquist has more than 20 years of intensive spiritual study and practice in the Buddhist and Shambhala traditions. She earned a B.S. Degree in Journalism from University of Oregon in 1980, is a graduate of the Coach For Life school of spiritually-based training for Life Coaches, and has lived in spiritual community in a monastery.

She has been a passionate teacher of meditation and Buddhism since 1994 and teaches regularly at the Portland Shambhala Meditation Center. Her affiliations with Reed College include 5 years of work with the Development Office (1983-88) and co-leading a student organized meditation group during 2002-2003.
