Hello, I ‘m George Wu and I coach the men’s basketball team at Reed college. When I was a student here, I played on the team and the 2007-08 season will be my fourth as the basketball coach here at Reed. The basketball team accepts any and all students who want to participate. If you love basketball and are well coordinated, an athlete or have a basketball background, you can do well on the team. If none of these apply to you, the best place to start your basketball experience will most likely be the co-ed basketball PE. Whatever skills you lack as a basketball player, we will teach you. Keep in mind that this is a very intense class and your endurance will be pushed to the limit in almost every practice.
