Gulmast is a W.P.S.A. Certified Coach, U.S.S.R.A. Certified Referee & Rules Instructor/Verifier, and was ranked among the Top-8 W.P.S.A. touring pros and #2 in the teaching pros. His numerous squash championships include five U.S. Nationals in singles and doubles, U.S. Masters, Nike World Masters, Mexico Masters.

He has coached in clubs and schools in the U.S. and Canada, and worked with the Mexico Squash Association to develop players for their Junior Program that went on to produce a number of champions. Gulmast continues to achieve outstanding results in developing players of all ages and levels into keen competitors. Working with a person's natural abilities, he steadily incorporates winning techniques and strategies into their game. Having taught most racket sports over the years, he enjoys playing them all.

As the son of the legendary Hashim Khan, the patriarch of the great Pakistani clan that has dominated world squash for over half a century, Gulmast's own two sons have carried on the family tradition of excellence in the sport. Evan is a former All-American and Tony is a former top-ranked varsity player.
