The Nutrition and Wellness Program at Reed

The Nutrition and Wellness Program is the result of student collaboration with the
Physical Education Department & the Health and Counseling Center. We wanted to
provide a way for students to be proactive with their health by having the opportunity
to consult individually with a nutrition and wellness counselor. This program works
in cooperation with Bon Appetit in an attempt to provide healthy food selection and
important nutrition information for your wellness goals.

How can I participate?

•   Contact Heather Nielsen Clute, Nutrition & Wellness Counselor at
    cluteh@reed.edu to set up an individual appointment, to ask any wellness-related
    question, or give us your feedback on what you’d like this program to become.

•  Attend a free Wellness Workshop held in the GCC from 4:30 - 6:00 P.M.
    February 24     - "Food: Fuel for our Bodies, Minds and Spirits"
    March 31     - "Healthy Snacking for Optimal Energy and Focus"
    April 18     - "Mindful Eating: A Simple Tool for Managing Stress"
